Real Tattoos Are Permanent
Be Sure You Want It For Life By Wearing It As A Temporary Tattoo

I just read a great article on the site “Koi Fish Tattoo Designs” that states;

Temporary tattoo design is one way to try out a new tattoo design to see whether it is really you.
Getting a tattoo is an exciting moment and you don’t want it to be a drag.

I thought that was very insightful and I started to reflect on my own experience.

Many times a customer who wants to ‘try out’ a real tattoo by using temporary tattoos, will be disappointed that my minimum order is 500 tattoos per design. For one person to wear a temporary tattoo for a week or two and then replace it with a fresh one would take them nine years to use them all up. But then I realized I still get a lot of great feedback by individuals who use my product for this exact purpose.

If you think about it, the low cost to ‘try out’ a real tattoo by using temporary tattoos is much less then purchasing a real tattoo and regretting it, even if you have to waste 200 temporary tattoos in the process.

Take www-TemporaryTattoos.com for example.  You can get 500 temporary tattoos for under $69 US.  How much does a real tattoo cost? Hundreds?

Anyway, I like the article on Koi Fish Tattoo Designs and thought it was worth a mention.

What do you think?

>>Barbie Turns 50 – Gets Tattoos

50 Year Barbie Celebration Of An American Icon

How Modern Does She Need To Be?

Barbie was introduced to the World in 1959. Within years new models of Barbie were introduced that allowed the child to change hair color or swirl her hair up in a pony tail. She later was able to drive her Austin Healey convertible or go camping in her country camper.  I never knew that was the make and model of her car until I just looked it up – I always thought it was a corvette by memory.

Barbie 50th Anniversary Tattoo Edition

Barbie 50th Anniversary Tattoo Edition

Many adults have fond memories of either playing with their own Barbies or a friends.

Introduced for the 50th Anniversary of Barbie is the “Mattell’s Totally Stylin’ Tattoos Barbie”. This latest version of Barbie comes with her own temporary tattoos which mimic the growing trend of young adults getting permanent tattoos. What bothers many parents is the toy ink gun which represents more closely permanent ink tattoos.

If you are careful and purchase safe FDA Approved Temporary Tattoos they can enhance playtime in a fun and playful way. Children can enjoy the benefits of role playing as an adult. That role play when kept fun, is a healthy experience.

What memories will children of today have when they look back at playing with the 2009 version of Barbie ?

Are we allowing corporations to shape our culture by lowering the age of desire for an adult decision like getting a real tattoo?

Comment below to let me know what you think.

Temporary Tattoos Save Lost Children Or Leave Permanent Scars – Your Choice

Balancing The Dangers With The Value of Temporary Tattoos

Children love Temporary Tattoos. They especially love to see other kids putting them on which makes them want one to. We recently celebrated Independence Day which produced hundreds of children with flag tattoos on their cheeks and arms. It is great fun to see the kids having fun in a safe manner.

I also have a lot of experience with the safety of children being increased greatly by the use of temporary tattoos. There are some great sites that offer kits that cater to children with Autism, Nut Allergies or just for kids who like to wander off. The idea behind these kits is that they will allow the parent to apply a temporary tattoo that states “I have Autism. If I am lost, help me be found!” and then there is a place for the parent to write their phone number in using a permanent marker.

A kit from MyPreciousKid.com costs $9.99 for 6 tattoos, wet wipes to apply, alcohol wipes to remove and a waterproof marker to write your phone number. ($ 1.67 per application).

Safetytat.com has a few more choices and some more detailed descriptions of the potentially lost child’s needs.  On this site you get 30 Safety Tattoos for $19.95. ($0.67 per application) You enter your phone number and the company will send you the tattoos pre-printed. An inquiry was sent to this company to determine whether the inks used were FDA Approved. No response at the time of this writing.

A third option is www-TemporaryTattoos.com. Here you can design your own artwork and have the phone number incorporated in to the design. 500 Temporary Tattoos is offered for under $69 ( $ 0.14 per application) All of the tattoos use FDA Approved inks and have a 100% money back guarantee.

There are dangers with some tattoos though so you should do your homework. As reported on Blogs.babiesonline.com

Use of black henna can result in eczema, swelling, blisters and even lead to permanent scarring, among other things. In her presentation, Dr. Jacob also noted that children as young as four were getting tattoos created with black henna and were reacting to the dye.

It is strongly recommended that you see documentation stating that any product being applied to the skin uses only FDA approved ingredients.

Also, you should remember that any product that is used for a purpose that it was not intended is not a good idea. Always follow the instructions given for any product.

In the end using a Temporary Tattoo is meant to be for fun, entertainment and enjoyment.

Take care, be safe and have fun!

Thanks.

Melanie.

Hayden Panettiere Regrets Real Tattoo

Hayden Panettiere was on The Late Show with David Letterman last night. She talked about saving whales and swimming with dolphins.

David opened a new topic about a tattoo rumor and Hayden Panettiere.  He asked if it was true that she had a misspelled tattoo on her back. She struck a ‘guilty’ look and confirmed the rumor.

Hayden Panettiere has an Italian heritage and felt strongly about the expression “Live Without Regret” so she had it tattooed on to her back in Italian.

I think she should have simply had temporary tattoos  made then she really wouldn’t regret the tattoo, she could simply wash it off.

What do you think?
