No Artwork Help Needed - If you have or will be making your own artwork there are no additional charges. If you are not sure if your artwork is good enough, don't worry. Simply upload your artwork at the end of the order process and I'll review it for you. I won't start to make your tattoos until you approve the digital proof that I create for you.

For your ready artwork please keep the following in mind.

1) You should own the rights to the artwork you send me. If it is a professional sports team logo or some other well known logo you should have written documentation available granting you permission to use the logo.

2) Save your artwork in a large, high resolution jpg. For example, if you are ordering a 2" x 2" tattoo, saving your artwork as a 4" x 4" jpg at 300 dpi is perfect and will look great. If you're not sure what this means, simply send whatever you have and I'll take care of it.

3) Feel free to send other formats (ai, eps, jpg, gif, tif, png, doc, zip, rar, cdr, psd, pdf) as well but please note that delays in your order could result if I don't have your fonts or there are other compatibility problems. I have a good team here that can open almost anything.

4) At quantities under 100,000 pieces color matching is approximate. My printing method uses 4 color process which can recreate millions of colors. Photos will look great. Colors that are neon, fluorescent or metallic are not possible with four color process. (no other manufacturer can do it for you either)

5) Don't worry about sending huge files (2 MB - 11MB). Normally tattoos are very small so medium size files should reduce down to give a very clean result.

6) If you're not sure, simply send what you have and I will advise you of your best options or show you a finished digital proof.

Minor Artwork Help Needed - If you want text or a date wrapped around your existing artwork that is good quality, you probably can use this artwork level. When you upload your artwork file at the end of the order process you'll have a box where you can enter the text you want, color of text and a font you prefer. I can choose these options for you, if you are not sure.

This artwork level does not cover very small, blurry, fuzzy artwork. This artwork level may not include a color change or design change depending on the complexity. I will alert you before I do any work whether additional work is necessary.

If you need ideas or help you can also have a look through a ClipArt website and tell me the "Item#" you want. When you place your tattoo order, tell me the Item# and describe the text you want around that artwork. I will use that clipart as a starting point idea to create new artwork for you. Depending on the complexity this may cost more then this level of artwork help but I will advise you before hand.

Full Artwork Help Needed - If you only have an idea and need me to put your artwork together for you choose this level of help. Write a brief description on the final order page and tell me what you're thinking of. I'll have my graphics person put some artwork together for you and you will have the chance to Approve a digital proof before I start making your tattoos.

More Complex / Rebuild - If you send me artwork that is very small, low resolution and fuzzy I will let you know if it is too small to use. If your artwork is borderline being too small, I will try to improve it and upload a digital proof for your approval. If your artwork is smaller than I am comfortable with using, I'll send you an email letting you know. Creating very complex artwork or rebuilding your small artwork can cost $45 or more. I do my best to keep artwork costs to a minimum but I need to cover my time and expenses.

Here is an example of artwork that was too fuzzy and had to be rebuilt.

Customer wanted the Hawk 'more clear' which would have been impossible without rebuilding the artwork. Artwork is rebuilt and the Hawk looks great. By using high quality artwork the resulting tattoo is perfect!

General Reminders

Online Images - Most images that you find online are too small to make for very good tattoos. If you are not sure, then simply upload your artwork at the end of the order process and I can let you know.

Quality - Rebuilding your artwork does cost a little extra but will result in a perfect tattoo.

Size - Think ahead about the size you want. Print your artwork out at the size you are ordering to get an idea of the size. If you don't know how to do that, then simply get a ruler and draw an outline on a piece of paper to show you the final size of your tattoo. Remember to inclue a 1/8" blank border around the edges which we need for cutting purposes.

Text Size - Print your artwork out at the size you will be ordering your tattoos in. Can you read the text included on your art? Some clients get upset with me because the tattoo is too small and they included too much information in a very small space. The text will print very clear at very small sizes but may not be readable by some people.

Photos - Your tattoos are printed using four color process so photos will look great. Higher contrast photos work better and look great. Print out your photo at the size you will be ordering to get a rough idea of how it will turn out. Remember that colors vary from printer to printer and on different monitors.
